Pundak Ein Kerem is a well-known destination spot in the picturesque Ein Kerem neighborhood on Jerusalem's western side. After 25 years pleasing customers who came from as far as Tel Aviv to soak in the atmosphere, Ein Pundak closed for a year for renovations and re-opened with extended garden space and a broad menu. Sit outside to take in the views of the nearby alleyways and churches while you relax with a bottle of good Israeli wine and some appetizers. Since the restaurant is not kosher, there are all kinds of delicacies on offer, and no separation of milk from meat dishes, so desserts include luscious cheesecake and a selection of rich ice creams. There's an extensive bar with some fine cocktails.
