As a Buddhist, the statues outside were impressive the golden figures inside were amazing. It was stunningly hot on our visit nearly 40 degrees out on the temple forecourt good views over the harbour. It is not worth a walk up the hill, get a taxi. A good photo opportunity, it is beautiful but, once there, there is not anything to do except take some pictures. There are several special occasions where Monks come to visit to celebrate Buddhist festivals it would be worth arriving when a festival is planned.
