Not only are the items unique (you actually won't find them anywhere else in Phuket), but everything is handmade by residents of villages in poor areas of Thailand. Buying an item here not only gets you a one-of-a-kind product but it also helps support the tribal economy. Look for silks, handwoven cotton and other textiles for the home.
