Approximately 22 miles north of San Antonio, Rebecca Creek Golf Course is well worth the drive. It is always in excellent shape, and the layout has decidedly the Texas hill-country feel. The hills and undulations make for very few level lies on this course. There is no sand whatsoever, but there are still plenty of ways to get into trouble. Rolling terrain and big trees such as mature oaks and cedar elms line the fairways, meaning lots of bogeys, (or worse) if balls don't stay in bounds. The Marshals (or 'Sheriffs' as they are called on this Hill Country course) keep play, moving at a decent pace.
