Red Pearl Kitchen ia a "cool" "1930s Shanghai" look bolstered by "seductive" lighting and "blaring" music lures "gorgeous people" to this Gaslamp "hipster heaven" where "creative" cocktails go down well with the kitchen's "deliciously zippy" Pan-Asian "concoctions"; a few gripe about "less-than-spectacular" service, but at least the staff's "cute", and dining at the "entertaining" chef's table in the kitchen is perfect "for a hungry group."
