This is the most upscale restaurant on the south coast. The food is well prepared, and the ambience is romantic -- waves lap nearly at your feet from the blue-and-white terrace. Tuesday to Saturday, a pianist tickles the ivories from 8 to 11pm. The place has won many local culinary awards for dishes that include tartare of yellowfin tuna, carpaccio of ostrich tenderloin, white Peking duck with garlic risotto and port reduction, New Bedford scallops, and grilled barracuda filets with black truffles.
