- Indian attire is preferable as it is a religious place. Dress modestly if you plan to visit religious places.
- Kurtas or pant - shirt are fine for guys. For women, sarees, salwars suits or kurtis/pants should be fine.
- For foreigners, western attire would be fine as long as it is modest. For women, your arms and legs should be covered. You may have to cover your head in some temple & leave your shoes outside the temple.
- Depending to the time of year of your visit, you may also need warm clothing like wollens and jackets during winter months. December/Jan/Feb are cold.
