Roombeek, (10 min. walk north from Enschede Centraal station), [4]. Roombeek is the neighborhood between Deuningerstraat and Oldenzaalstraat, north of Lasondersingel, which corresponds to the neighborhood rebuilt after the fireworks disaster. It is now the finest neighborhood of Enschede, with all houses and buildings projected by renowed architects, plenty of green areas and exclusive lanes for buses and bicycles, and containing the Twentse Welle museum and the Rijksmuseum.
