This bazar/market has its origins somewhere around the end of the 19th century. It is one of the few Warsaw markets which was left untouched by communism, and it has preserved its old-style wooden booths. Groceries, fresh vegetables, fish, meat, clothing, houseware, shoes, wedding dresses; you can find almost anything you're looking for here. Do be careful though, it is in a less secure part of the city. Mind your wallet.
