Sake Bar Rikka is hidden away behind the Victoria Park Market, only five minutes walk from Auckland's central business district. Eternally popular and well-patronised, it serves excellent Japanese fare with seafood as a specialty. Prices are competitive and meals are always satisfying. The sake list is more than extensive and several varieties are house favourites—make sure you book a taxi home!
