Scuderie del Quirinale is a Museum, The palace of the Quirinal Stables borders, with the Palazzo del Quirinale and that of the See , the extraordinary urban space in the center of which there is a fountain with statues of Castor and Pollux and the 'obelisk found in the nineteenth century near the Mausoleum of Augustus. Stables The building is located close to the wall enclosing the garden column and rests on the remains, still partly visible, the great Roman temple of Serapis . The total area of the Papal Stables is about 3000 square meters , spread over several floors. In particular, the first and second floor open spaces of about 1,500 square meters make up the exhibition.
