Sea Acres National Park is a place of natural beauty protecting rare coastal subtropical and littoral rainforest, only four kilometres south of Port Macquarie town centre. Here the rainforest meets the coast in one of the largest remaining coastal rainforest reserves in New South Wales. Dedicated as a nature reserve in 1987, it was the first coastal landscape to attract heritage listings for the preservation of an outstanding coastal rainforest remnant and distinctive geological features.
At Sea Acres Rainforest Centre explore the tranquil, subtropical rainforest on the elevated and wheelchair-accessible boardwalk. Go at your own pace or take a guided tour with one of the award-winning volunteer Rainforest Guides. Take a break and enjoy the ambience and delicious food at the Rainforest Caf and visit the gift shop. Find out about other local national parks and reserves in the area, special Aboriginal tours and Discovery holiday activities.
