Only those of you who truly love biryani can brave the frantic bustle of the Charminar area to dine at Shadab. There is a crowded café on the ground floor and a family dining area on the first floor, which is a kind of glorified Irani café with heavy and ornate upholstery, and even a couple of liveried butlers! Huge table fans whirl noisily as people jostle for space in the waiting area. It is not uncommon to have the next customer stand by your table even as you finish your meal.
