Also known as Tibetan Buddhist Temple, Shedup Choepelling Temple is a popular Tibetan temple located near the LBS National Academy of Administration (IAS Academy) campus along the Happy Valley Road in Mussoorie. Surrounded by the snow-capped Himalayan mountain peaks, the Shedup Choepelling Temple is believed to be the place where the 14th Dalai Lama initially took refuge after fleeing from Tibet in 1959. Adorned by clay lamps and prayer flags, the Shedup Choepelling Temple houses several books on Tibetan literature.
