This is the alpine version of New York City's Rockefeller Plaza ice rink, minus, of course, nine million people. Located in the center of town, it offers a well-maintained ice surface to skate on 12 hours a day. With mountains and downtown Aspen as a backdrop, the rink looks like the kind of place where Kathy Lee Gifford would film a Christmas special. While parents shop, it is a great place to leave the kids. Skate rentals and skating sessions are available.
