About
Sirinath National Park covers an area of 90 square kilometers, an area west of Phuket International Airport to the northern tip of the island, and includes Nai Yang, Nai Thon and Mai Khao beaches. The park offers basic government-run bungalows and tents for hire, or you can stay in a hotel nearby. To the north of the park, located near Tah Chatchai, is a mangrove forest in the marshes of saltwater with the support of eco-systems unique. A nature trail and 800m wooden walkway was built, with signs indicating and explaining the various species of plants and animals. Entrance to the northern tip of the island, near the bridge in Phang Nga. During Songkran, the Thai New Year in early April, it is filled with people and the water fights that ensue are a wonderful respite from the heat. Well worth the visit.
