About

Sola Khamba was built during the reign of Aurangzeb. It was named so because of the 16 pillars that support it's roof. It is also known as the Shaikh Ala-al-Din's tomb. The saint, who was the overseer of the shrine of Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti, constructed his own tomb in four years beginning from 1659.
