This Thonglor restaurant has a menu that starts with many Thai traditional dishes and gives them a pinch of fusion and gourmet. The owner insists on buying local, organic ingredients whenever possible, and all dishes are prepared on site, from scratch. Prices are modest starting at about 100 baht per plate and keeping under 200. Soul Food occupies a small, air-conditioned space but is not cramped and has a nice, neighborly quality to it. The cocktail list has some creative concoctions put together by the owner's bartender friend and again the prices are not flying on past 200 baht.
