The Spirit of Folk Festival, now in its 4th year, is a family friendly feast for the senses hosted on the beautiful grounds of Dunderry Park. Across the 25 acres of lake and woodlands, and around the original Georgian house, you will be able to listen to the best of Ireland's folk and trad musicians play some of their finest chill-out and raucous tunes deep in the forest.Why not take part in some Shamanic drumming and celebrations; or listen to some of Ireland's best storytellers enlighten you on the ways of the wee folk in a custom built megalithic cairn – and if you are lucky you may even bump into some in the forest! There will also be archery lessons, ecology talks and experiments, choral performances, mind, body and spirit talks and workshops, ancient astronomy lectures and more.
