You can spot Staunton's from the Mid-levels Escalator, on the corner of Staunton and Shelley Streets. You get great wines, delicious homemade cakes and, usually, a seat, unless it is a weekend night. The bar opens early so you can be thoroughly southern Mediterranean and have a glass or two before noon. Irresistible monthly specials - be it pizza, wine or beer that would keep you coming back for more. The lunchtime set menu, consisting of three courses, is definitely worth a try.
