Tucked away in down a dirt driveway off Huay Kaew Road, Sudsana keeps folk music alive every night of the week. The restaurant looks like country style farm house made completely of wood. It hosts solo and group folk singers every night. Thai folk music is most common but the band tends to play western favorites when there's a large enough foreign crowd. The place fills up if an out-of-town (or out of country) folk singer stops by to play. The menu comes from the same region as the music -- Isaan in Eastern Thailand. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make Sudsanan a great place to spend a relaxing yet entertaining evening. -Scott Johnson
