Suntalekhola

Suntalekhola is a beautiful village and a tourist destination in Darjeeling. It is popular for the luxurious cover of tea gardens, hills and forests that make this place a desirable destination. It is also admired for its trekking trails. A popular trekking trail takes you to the Tree Fern Point from where you can set up your camping site. From here the mighty Himalayan range can be seen. One can even see the Bhutan hills from this point. Suntalekhola is home to a variety of plant and animal species. A bird watchers  haven, Suntalekhola is a treasure trove of many butterflies as well.
