Surya Mandir

This temple is actually located 75 kms away from patna in nalanda district.its an ancient temple dedicated to chhat festival held twice[april-oct/nov] in a year.the temple' s attraction is a 5 feet statue of goddess parvati the temple has also statues of many buddhist deities so it is both a hindu and buddhist temple.it is a must go very near to world famous -nalanda university.
