About

For many locals, this is still the place to come for a fancy Polish dinner. It has a longstanding tradition and even during the toughest times has always served up classic dishes. This is what traditional Polish restaurants have looked like for a decade or so: simple, elegant, with simple but formal decor. Expect lots of meat dishes, pierogis (dumplings) cooked to perfection, pickled beets and lots of other traditionally prepared vegetables. The authentic food served here is rather heavy and filling. Despite the mounds of meat on offer, vegetarians can actually piece together a decent meal by picking items from different sections.
