Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, It is built by the bank of the Yamuna river not very far from the Agra Fort. Taj Mahal is a masterpiece of the Mughal architecture and its boasts of intricate stonework and it is probably the most famous building in the world. This was built by Shah Jahan to enshrine the body of his wife, Arjumand Bann Begum (Mumtaz Mahal) after she died in 1630 at Burhanpur in South India. It took over 20,000 skilled workers from across the country, working day and night, for 22 years for this architectural wonder to be created.
