From the seafront outdoor terrace, one would never know that the sights and sounds of a hectic city were just a stone's skip away. The Tarihi Çinar has been in business for decades (first as a meat restaurant over near the national park before it switched to fish); it's been at the current location for only a handful of these years. Still, it's one of maybe two area restaurants that draws guests from beyond Kusadasi's limits. Specials of the house are the tuzda balik (salt-baked fish) preceded by a plate of grilled king prawns.
