Tea Tree Players is an all-ages theatre group from Surrey Downs. Charles and Arthur Grey are two sit-com writers with a looming deadline for a new TV series, and writers block. To help to resolve the situation in some way Charles invites the Greys round one evening, and Arthur goes armed with his homemade pea wine. As the repellent vino flows tempers rise, and by next morning they have swapped wives. This provides them with an idea for a sit-com series, or at least it would if they could agree on an ending, and their frantic efforts to find one are moments of hysterical farce.
