Templemore Golf Club is a level parkland course with 9 greens and 18 teeing positions where accuracy is rewarded due to the narrow tree lined fairways and tight undulating greens. Access to the course is unrestricted for member or green fee player with the exception of Sunday's. The club has had success at national level in GUI competitions with the ladies team the current holders of the All Ireland Minor Cup title and the men's team have held the Munster Country Clubs title for the last 2 years. The ladies were the first to achieve national honours for the club when 2 members won the All Ireland Huzzar Foursomes in 1987. The Club has won national titles in every decade since the most significant being the All Ireland Independent Mixed Foursomes in 1999 and the Munster Title of the Pierce Purcell Shield in 2000
