The Dialog Association was founded in January 1998 by professional theatre actors, directors and scenographers. The Chairman of the Association is Edward Żentara, film and theatre actor, winner of prestigious awards, who has directed a number of theatre plays, for example Crime and Punishment in the Dramatyczny Theatre in Elbląg and the Polski Theatre in Szczecin, or The Bench in the Polski Theatre in Szczecin, to name just two. Currently working for the Rozmaitości Theatre in Warsaw.The Deputy Chairman sharing the responsibility for the repertory is Tomasz Piasecki, actor and director, who has staged plays such as Antigone in New York, Diderot's Jacques Le Fatalist At Son Maître, and the latest Dialog premiere, Sławomir Mrożek's Emigranci (The Emmigrants).The literary director and manager of the Dialogue is Szczęsny Wroński, poet, writer, culture agent and founder of the Teatr Promocji i Poezji.The Dialogue Association cooperates with Anna Musiałówna, Anna Smolicka, Beata Wojciechowska, Marian Jaskulski, Marek Kalita, Jacek Milczanowski, Tadeusz Smolicki, Jacek Wojciechowski, Leszek Żentara, and others. The Dialogue Association is a two-time winner of a national competition for the Grudziądz Theatre Season project (2nd and 3rd edition in 1998/1999 and 1999/2000). Every year, the Dialogue Association organises the summer festival 'Theatrical Summer Of The Dialogue Association'. Its 5th edition in 2001 was a resounding artistic success.
