The Kaunas Castle

The Kaunas Castle [29] - Papilio str. 17; Kaunas castle was built in the middle of XIV century and is the oldest building in Kaunas. Today the round tower of Kaunas Castle houses an art gallery. The castle is open to tourism, and hosts occasional festivals. Nearby Kaunas castle a nice Santakos park is set at the confluence of the two largest rivers of Lithuania - the Nemunas and Neris.
