Thai food in its true style. This search takes us to the Thai Pavillion, in the Taj Malabar Hotel (recently added to the Vivanta group of hotels by the Taj group), Wellington Island. The cuisine is basically Thai as well as Chineese. The serving style followed in the restaurant is Western where you place the order and wait to be served. A typical Thai meal includes a soup and appetizers to start with, which is followed up by the main meal and finally the fruits. The restaurant has a menu which covers almost all the popular Thai food varieties which range upto traditional so as to give the guests a complete Thai meal in all aspects. The menu includes Hot and sour soup with shrimp, Fried noodles, Thai style salad with beef, Panang curry,satay pork,Green curry with chicken etc. We get both Northern and Southern Thai dishes at the pavilion restaurant. The Northern dishes are slightly different from the traditional Thai foods and the Southern foods are much more spicy.
