About

Tribune is the small theatre off the Grandstand, and it offers a broad spectrum of theatrical and musical programs and experiments. The Grandstand is the oldest private theatre of Berlin, and possesses a past richly affected by historical events. First opened in 1919 as a political expressionist stage, the first success of the theatre was the premier of Ernst Tollers' "The Transformation" with Fritz Kortner. After a great succession of historical plays, the theatre today continues the tradition with some great shows.
