This is our choice of the five restaurants that occupy Market Common, Myrtle Beach's most appealing shopping mall and residential community. It's big, airy, and sophisticated, with an authenticity of Italy-inspired flavors. This restaurant can be many things to many people -- a friendly place for families as well as a warmly hospitable bar and grill. You are likely to have the single best bowlful of pasta fagioli (a traditional bean soup with pasta) outside of Italy. Menu items include "black truffle beggars purses" made from pasta, four different cheeses, black truffles, and sage-flavored butter sauce; veal saltimbocca which "jumps in your mouth"; flounder Parmesan served with lemon butter and capers; and "Vesuvio" marsala, with angel-hair pasta, with either chicken or veal.
