Trent Park

Enfield

About

Formerly the base of a mansion owned by Esgar, the chief constable of Edward the Confessor during the Second World War, this park was used to jail German Generals. Today this large massive land comes under London's Green Belt, part of it is used by the Middlesex University. Some portion has been converted into a golf course. On sight here is a walking trail, a dog park and large spaces for cycling, jogging, horse riding and skating. The Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Centre is also located here, this center rehabilitates rare species of animals and bird and preserves them. During the open season fishing is permitted.
