The 29th Tubbercurry Old Fair Festival promises a host of entertainment for all the family to enjoy over five days. Enjoy the opening celebrations on Saturday, the family fun day on Sunday, a host of activities on Monday and Tuesday to suit young and old and the highlight of the festival, The Old Fair Day itself on Wednesday. Relive yesteryear on the Fair Day in the heritage village, where you can experience the sights, sounds and smells of fair days gone by with live animals. Many of Ireland's most respected craftspeople will be there, showing and selling top quality goods. The range is dazzling and unique with everything from chocolates to high fashion. See over 40 live demonstrations of thatching, weaving, butter making, trashing, pottery making, rush work and much more. In addition, enjoy artisan food and breads, the RSA Roadshow, a kid's zone and over a hundred trade stands dotted throughout the town. Watch the talented street performances by theatrical groups and sing along to live music on the main stage. Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival is a must for all the family this August.
