The Uangdoi School of Fashion Design & Dressmaking is a professional accredited design school located in the tourist area in the South-East of the Old City. The director and teacher, Ms. Krisna Sumethanuphab, graduated from Esmod Gurre-Lavigne School of Design in Paris in 1980 and has been teaching at the school, which her parents established ten years earlier, ever since. She speaks both English and French and is as good at tailoring classes to students' desires and needs as she is dresses and clothes. The full curriculum is broken into four courses, each longer than the last, starting with a four week course and ending with a 16 week course at the highest level.
