The present house in Uppercourt was built by Sir William Morris around 1790. The estate was last purchased by the Surgeon Paul O’Byrne and a sizable amount of restoration work has been undertaken on the house since. The property comprises of 34 Acres. Alongside the House is a renovated Church building, a Walled in Orchard and the ‘Loop Walk’ that takes you around Freshford.The house will open on selected days throughout 2013.All Year except Bank holidays, Mon-Fri, 10am -3pm, Sat - Sun, 11am-6pm.
