Verace

Calle Jose Miguel De La Barra, 486 Cuisines: Pizza

About

If you like your pizza thin-crusted and with a variety of topppings you probably never saw at home, make ia stop into Verace for lunch, afternoon snack, or dinner. Loads of pizzas fly out of hte oven here, with corn, hearts of palm and olives, for starters. Pizzas with meat are big sellers as well, and you can get a slice or a whole pizza, depending on your appetite. The whole pizzas tend to be a better deal, price-wise, but the crust is quite thin, so even an individual pizza isn't particularly heavy. If you've got some appetite left over, or maybe if you just started with a sweet tooth, head to the back for some of their small batch ice cream with many fruit flavors and the Chilean favorite "harina tostada" (toasted flour, eaten as a breakfast cereal, like farina) being a big seller. The place fills up late in the evenings and on weekends, but in the afternoon the small restaurant usually has a table to spare. Poeple don't  tend tolinger, so if you hang around long enough, you can usually get a seat.
