Wadi Bani Khalid & Wahiba Sands, A full day tour to see Wadi Bani Khalid and to enjoy a desert experience at Wahiba Sands, Wahiba Sands, a sand dune desert located 3 hours from Muscat. It is named for the nomadic Bedouin Wahiba tribe that once crossed the dunes in search of water. We will visit the Bedouins at their camp, where you can enjoy a short camel ride followed by an exciting session of dune bashing," where the Bedouins expertly navigate a 4×4 through the steep sand dunes. If you so choose, we will stay overnight in the desert, sleeping under the stars in the Bedouin camp of palm leaf huts.
