Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham, more simply known as Wat Mai (the New Monastery), is Luang Prabang's largest wat.

Wat Mai is one of the city's most photographed temples. It is the largest   and most richly decorated of the temples in Luang Prabang.B uilt in the 18th century it is located near the Royal Palace Museum.
