About

Learn all about Poole's seafaring past at this informative museum by Poole Quay. It contains cellars that date from medieval times, a replica old street and exhibitions and artefacts that tell tales of Roman occupation, the Studland Bay Wreck and trade with Newfoundland. There is also a changing program of temporary exhibitions. The adjacent Scalpen's Court museum contains educational exhibitions and displays and is open to the public during August.
