Within Blue Mountains National Park, five minutes from the highway, is one of the most majestic waterfalls on the plateau. A range of walking tracks allow access the views, the top of the falls, and by stone steps and stairs eventually reach the bottom falls. The National Pass Heritage Track that crosses the mid-point of the falls and follows a ledge halfway down the 185 metre high cliffs. The Valley of the Waters walking track combined with National Pass is a good half day walk Facilities at Wentworth Falls Picnic Area include car and bus parking, toilets, picnic tables and barbecues. If you come to Wentworth Falls by train, (two hours from Sydney) walk to Wilson Park, across the highway from the township. Darwins Walk starts in Wilson Park and commemorates a visit from Charles Darwin in 1861, and follows Jamison Creek to the top of Wentworth Falls.
