West Java (Indonesian: Jawa Barat) is a province of Indonesia. It is located in the western part of the island of Java and its capital and largest urban center is Bandung. Endowed with natural beauty and rich culture, tourism is also an important industry in West Java. The Puncak area and Bandung have long been known as popular weekend destinations for Jakartans.
