The museum consists of several rooms dispersed throughout the palace in Druget Castle. The museum has 115,000 pieces to acquaint the visitor with the history and culture of Zarkarpatia. Included is a 12,000 piece coin collection from ancient Rome, Austria-Hungary, Poland, and Russia. There are some rare manuscripts including a 14th century Psalm-book and a Gospel from 1401. Rooms contain displays of weaponry, popular art, musical instruments, and embroidered cloth.
