This yacht club is situated on the Zeekoeivlei and caters mainly for residents of the area, but welcomes visitors with open arms. The club has a launching area for small craft and a clubhouse with ablution facilities for relaxing after a hard day of sailing. Zeekoeivlei Yacht Club offers two sailing courses per year for novices. These courses run from Jan-Apr and Sept-Dec, respectively. Participants do not need their own boats, but do have to be club members. The club has 15 Optimists (dinghy type of sailing boat) for hire on a daily basis.
