Al Bric

Via del Pellegrino 51 Cuisines: Italian, French

About

Al Bric is not your average Roman restaurant, and not even your-above-average restaurant.  It is decidedly French- with a primary focus on French cuisine and even more shockingly French wines.  Many of the dishes include dollops of goat or herbed cheese, or French Brie, flavors that seem to make the wines taste even better. Menu items are based on a combination of traditional and creative modern cuisine.  Note:  there are some Italian dishes.   Located just off the busiest thoroughfare in historic Rome-- i.e. Campo dei' Fiori-- al Bric is a nice respite from the chaos with its four separate and artfully minimalist dining rooms.  Waitstaff is polite and efficient.
