Back in the day, the word barbacoa was actually the greenwood grill used for roasting meat by Arawak Indians; keeping that in mind, a steakhouse restaurant was established by the same name in São Paulo. Barbacoa's ambiance is quite classy and sophisticated, inspite of being a busy steakhouse.
