The Cathedral was built in 1886 along the lines of St. Petersburg's Church. The Bishop's throne has on both sides pair of winged panthers, carved by craftsmen from the bulgarian town Debar( in nowadays in Macedonia). As is in the center of Varna, no way to miss the Cathedral. Very nice glass ornaments were covered and now is not possible to see them as before. Saturdays and Sundays lots of weddings take place, always something to watch if you happen to be in the area.
