About

With a splendid view of Table Mountain in the distance, Delheim lies on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in the Stellenbosch district. The original farm, Driespongh, was founded in 1699 and purchased in 1938 by Hans Hoheisen, who planted the first vines in 1940. Delheim, (which means "Deli's home") and named after Hans Hoheisen's wife, was established in 1972 by Hoheisen, Vintner, Spatz, and Sperling. Besides picking up some of Delheim's excellent wines, breakfasts and light lunches can be enjoyed at the Vintner's Platter Garden Restaurant from October through to April. Check website for details.
