This arts shop and gallery has been around for a long time, before the modification of Nan Jing Road into a pedestrian street. This year, its interior has been renovated, causing it to lose a bit of its former dusty charm. Nevertheless, the five stories still offer a lot to see and buy. You will find arts & crafts and equipment for calligraphy and Chinese traditional painting, a good art bookstore, an independent gallery called SMM Gallery, the Duo Yun Xuan gallery of popular traditional and modern scroll paintings, and Duo Yun Xuan Auction house.
